The Golden Triangle comprises of Shimla, Kufri Chail, and Himachal Pradesh. Every year in the month of February, winter sports and festivals are held, which is still one of the primary attractions for globetrotters. If you want to visit The Golden Triangle, make sure to plan the trip during February as it opens only once in a year. There’s no entry fee; however, there may be minimal charges for parking. This place is famous for scenic beauty and photography.
- Jakhu Temple
Jakhu temple is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Kufri. It is a renowned religious place and can be reached from Shimla as well. It is just 7 km away from Shimla and the 108 feet high Lord Hanuman can be seen from the Mall road. The temple even has footprints of Lord Hanuman, and thus, it has special significance in the culture of Hindu religion. Jakhu temple is open all day long, and there’s no entry fee.
